Fresh from Video News Online 7, here's a video interview you won't want to miss! Bucky Covington talks about his upcoming new album, I'm Alright (he says he and producer Mark Miller are hoping to get it released this fall...can't wait), his love of NASCAR and his first ever National Anthem performance in Dover, NH (sounds like that might be the FedEx 400 on May 15th at the Dover International Speedway; it's not yet listed on Bucky's official concert schedule, but we'll update with any new info ASAP) and more. He also talked about his "scariest" American Idol performance, and how ballads are a special challenge, as there's no driving beat to hide those nerves. I'm biased, of course (shocker!) but I thought his Idol ballad spot was fantastic, nerves and all. And history proved all of us who liked it right, of course--Bucky went on to have a big Top Ten Billboard hit with a beautiful ballad called "I'll Walk" in 2008.
Thanks to Fox for posting this interview online; and if you'd like to hear Bucky Covington and his excellent band doing brilliant ballads and rockin' the house up close and in person, click here for info on his very hot Hometown Tour. More soon!
