Bucky Covington in concert: new show dates, reminders, Grammy notes and a bit of video, too...

"It's Good to Be Us"--especially if you were one of the lucky folks at this show! Bucky Covington and his excellent band performed for a sunlit crowd at the Jam For America in Daytona Beach last Saturday, and pcredvette graciously shared this video from the concert at YouTube. Enjoy!

We'll kick things off with the newest addition to your concert calendar--Bucky Covington and his band will join Mark Chesnutt in Winchester TN on November 20th for a fun Christmas Angels benefit show. Advance tickets are only $15 in advance for bleachers, $30 for floor seats; day-of-show tickets are $25 for bleachers/$40 floor, and VIP tickets are $100. It's all happening at the Franklin County High School (833 Bypass Rd in Winchester, TN; directions here) and the show is sponsored by WCDT. Many thanks to our friends at Buckytown USA for the details and for these contact numbers: for more information, contact John at 931-308-6394, 931-967-6408, or call WCDT at 931-967-2201.

Coming right up:
As for the recorded side of things, there's news from MJ's Big Blog about Bucky's most recent single, "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)". Bucky's former label, Lyric Street Records, submitted the song for consideration as "Best Male Country Vocal Performance" for the 2011 Grammy Awards. The name of Bucky's next single--and the release date of his highly-anticipated second album--are still mysteries at the moment, but we're hoping for sweet revelations on both those fronts (and on the label front, too) very soon. In the meantime, if you haven't bought Bucky's digital EP delights I'm Alright, Reality Country or Live From Rockingham, you've got some enjoyable catching up to do...

See you soon!
