Bucky Covington hits the road again--fall concert news and some hot live video, too...

Huge thanks to the very kind Lacypony for this great shot from Bucky Covington's recent performance in Yakima.

Summer's long gone, but there's plenty of live music and fun ahead--Bucky Covington and his excellent band are still traveling the country and rockin' stages coast-to-coast. Here's a quick look at what's coming up:

October 14th (that's this coming Thursday) at 8:30 pm, Bucky and company will play the Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock. KSSN 96 are your sponsors for this one, so if you're local, keep listening for more info and--perhaps--a surprise or two...

On Friday, October 15th, the party's happening at Cadillac's Rock n' Country Saloon (1107 E. Airline Hwy in LaPlace, LA; directions here). Tickets are $20 advance and $22 day of show, and there's a military discount available--buy your seats online and great ready for a wild night!

And on Saturday the 16th, join Bucky and fellow country stars Chris Cagle, John Anderson and headliner Gretchen Wilson in Daytona Beach, FL for Jam for America, a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 gate; you can buy them online at the event's website. 931 The KRO are the radio sponsors for this one--keep listening, and feel free to request Bucky while you're at it... (Thanks again to Hildi for the info.)

Another fun shot by the very generous Lacypony; Rocky Covington serenades the fans at the Central Washington Fair in Yakima. Thanks again, Lacypony!

We'd also like to thank Jean for sharing some background news about Bucky's upcoming Salute American Heroes concert on Saturday, November 6; she says that both the show and the festival are absolutely free! It's all happening at The Colony Five Star Complex (4100 Blair Oaks in The Colony, TX) and the music kicks off at 3:30 with an opening set by Maren Morris. Bucky and his band take the stage at 5:00 pm, and the night finishes off with a fireworks display.

And we'll wind it up with a little taste of what you'll be enjoying when you get to a show--here's a seriously rockin' rendition of "Mama Must Be Prayin'" from Bucky's recent performance at the Wild Duck in Baltimore, as captured by the talented homerjony. (One of the coolest, most distinctive voices in country today and a truly hot band, too--you know you've gotta go! Click here for Bucky's tour schedule at his official site and make plans to be there live. You'll be glad you did...)

I love that Bucky has a backdrop in this video of Momma Must Be Prayin. I didn't see that when we were in St. Joseph, MO in September. Wonder if it's new?

  2. Hi there, Rachel! You're right, maybe it is new--it's pretty stylish. Hope we'll see it more often. :)
