Bucky Covington's road trip rolls on: SC and LA concert news and a new tune, too!

Huge thanks to moya1jb for posting this brand new song from Bucky Covington and his band. This video was taken at the recent Imlay City show--see our edit below for a note from the gracious videographer. Lots to look forward too, y'all--live, on your iPod and on the airwaves. Stay tuned...

Thanks also to the very kind Hildi for passing this concert info along: "Tickets are on sale now for the concert series for Bucky's concert in the USC Bundy Auditorium on November 19th, Friday night. They can be bought over the phone @ 803-286-1145 or on the internet at plittle@lancastercitysc.com. [Note: the Lancaster City site also lists p.arts@lancastercitysc.com for ticket info via email.] The auditorium holds 400 and seats are on sale now." We're guessing that this intimate date in a beautiful venue will sell out fast-- be sure to snag your seat ASAP. Eagle 92.9 has the show listed on their concert page, so if you're local, keep it tuned there for more details.

Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington on stage at the Iowa State Fair last summer, as captured by Judy Lang--thanks again!

And our friends at Buckytown USA have info about a new concert posted at Bucky's official website; he and his band will bring the party to the Cadillac Rock'n'Country Saloon in LaPlace, Louisiana on October 15th. Bookmark Buckytown for breaking live show news and fantastic concert photos like today's shots by the talented Measles.

Autumn is looking pretty hot indeed, with new studio music to listen to and new live shows to enjoy. Hang on tight...

*Edited to add a fun note from the kind concertgoer who took the video: "I love that Bucky choose to sing a new song and I was able to get it on tape-but I'm pretty sure he was joking about it being written by him and such because the opening act at the fair DJ Miller sang the song while he was on before Bucky..." Gotta love that live spontaneity, yes? Thanks for the update--and if you'd like a chance to enjoy some of that freewheelin' concert fun, click here for Bucky's tour calendar. See you soon--W
