Much (very much!) anticipated, sure to please... Bucky Covington's second album, I'm Alright, is due to hit online and brick-and-mortar retailers with a bang in September of this year. Bucky's official YouTube channel has been updated with a fun sneak peek behind the scenes, complete with a taste of some brand new music you're sure to like. (For more new music, check out his two hot digital EP offerings, I'm Alright, featuring his current hit "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)" (available at iTunes and Amazon) and Reality Country (also at Amazon and iTunes).
And yep...there are new concert dates to report! Bucky and his excellent band have just been added to the JoDee Messina and Friends show at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland ME on Friday, August 20th. Tickets will be on sale soon through InfieldParking.com--head on over to sponsor station 99.9 The Wolf for details and updates. (We're also searching for more details on a rumored August 21st date in Glens Falls, NY...be sure to bookmark Bucky's official site and visit our friends at Buckytown USA for the latest, freshest news on Bucky's wild and wonderful live shows.)
Finally, here's a treat for Ducky Medlock's many fans. Ducky and Rocky Covington's musical collaboration, MedRock, has an impressive You Tube presence thanks to some talented videographers. (LISAMARIE22685 and PGrind74 have captured some terrific performances.) And now, Chuckie370 has posted a must-see 2003 video of Ducky performing a haunting original Medlock/Covington composition, "Pendulum". Bucky's an amazing singer with an amazingly talented band--get out and see them this summer, y'all. Have a great week!
Thanks for the video and the update, Winnie. It's always a treat to wee your posts. I can't wait for the sophomore CD!
