It's almost in the history books now--CMA Fest is winding down for another year (all together, now...awwww) but Bucky Covington's big summer concert tour is just getting warmed up. We've got another addition to the schedule to share--tickets for a newly-added July 9th show at Screamin' Willie's in Columbus, Ohio are on sale now at Ticketmaster. This is a general admission show, and doors open at 6 pm, and we hope you can make it to the party. There's also a little more word about that mystery date in Glens Falls, NY on August 21st; we're waiting for confirmation, but it looks like Bucky and his band may be appearing with Jo Dee Messina and John Michael Montgomery at the Glens Falls Civic Center that evening. (He and his band are definitely part of the Jo Dee Messina and Friends show at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland ME on Friday, August 20th, brought to you by 99.9 The Wolf. If you're local, your best bet is to bookmark the venue's site and check back often...and if you hear any concert news, please feel free to pass it along!)

As for the party happening on your radio--looks like another good week for Bucky's latest hit "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)", even with a couple of superstar polevaults factored in. We'll wait for the official Billboard chart word on Monday evening, but there's never been a better time than right now to let your dad--and your country radio station--know how you feel about this charmer of a song. (Yep, that'd be an unsubtle but heartfelt request nag...)
