(That would be the big WBEE Stars and Guitars rave-up in in Rochester, NY--keep listening to win!) With a little live downtime on the horizon, now's a good time to focus on the radio requesting front--Bucky's hot new video for "Gotta Be Somebody" is making waves at CMT.com, and that buzz is a wave we can ride in style.
How close are we to that first Top 40 milestone? It's hard to say at this point--the Billboard Country Indicator and Country Aircheck Activator charts (we can look at those as "on-ramps") seem to point to a smooth and steady rise. Once the video hits television via CMT and GAC, we'll be joined on the phone lines by a whole new wave of listeners--so we might go from "steady" to "speedy" soon. Our best bet, as always--keep on dialing, voting and emailing our local stations, and recruit some country-radio-loving friends--the more, the better.
