Whatever was happening when this shot was taken must have been a lot of fun! Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington delighted the crowd at the Boone County Fair ; thanks again to the very kind Judy Lang for the photo.Bucky Covington and his band have two stops in beautiful Pennsylvania this weekend--they'll perform at tomorrow's Y108 Thrillbilly Bash in Pittsburgh, and they'll open for ZZ Top at the Sovereign Center in Reading on Sunday. After that, they'll get a much-needed break before beginning the next part of their tour with a bang in Bucky and Rocky's hometown of Rockingham, NC. (For more details, and a look at the beautiful poster for the homecoming show, check out Bucky's official MySpace blog today...)

Ducky Medlock, Jeff Cease and Bucky Covington at the Boone County Fair; photo by our talented friend Judy Lang. Thanks again! On the radio, our soft spot for Bucky's stunning summer single remains...feel free to call up your favorite local country DJ and request Bucky's "I Want My Life Back"! At the end of the month, his new single "Gotta Be Somebody" [hear a snippet at KMPS] officially hits radio--but with all the buzz about it, some stations seem to be playing it (or test-tracking it) ahead of schedule. If your station is among them, it's always nice to dial them up and let them know you're diggin' the tune.
We'll close for now with a Boone County Fair souvenir we missed a little while ago--Rockford's Country Q98.5 was there, and their gallery from the fair will make you nostalgic for summer ahead of schedule. Enjoy! More soon...
