Quick Thursday news: Bucky Covington's Western week continues, update at Shiny Bass and more...

Bucky Covington on stage in Indianapolis last week; thanks to the very kind Judy Lang for this front-row-view shot. Click the image to check out Bucky's official concert schedule.

Another quiet day, another wild Western night! Bucky Covington and his band will rock the Wrangler in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento area), and a good time is a given. (We're not sure if there are tickets left at post time, but check out the Wrangler's eTix page for what could be a pleasant surprise this morning. If you're going, have a blast!)

Tomorrow, Bucky and company hit the Rodeo Club in San Jose--pick your tickets up for $15 at KRTY, or pay $20 at the door. On Saturday, it's back to the beautiful fair scene--the Inter-Mountain Fair in McArthur, CA, to be exact. Call (530)336-5695 for tickets, and enjoy the California sunshine...

Bucky's brilliant bass player Steve Cook describes the group's Northwestern travels in his latest update at Shiny Bass Journal--be sure to check it out.

Jeff Cease, Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington delighted the crowd in Indianapolis a little while back; thanks again to Judy Lang for this fun photo.

Checking out the charts--it's quiet there, too, and if 31 is your favorite number, you're once again in luck. "I Want My Life Back", Bucky's beautiful current single, is sporting a respectable bullet this morning, but we always like to see 'em as plump as possible. (If your local country station has a lunchtime request show coming up, feel free to ask for Bucky this afternoon--or anytime!)

Finally, here's a wire service gallery we missed a little while back--Bucky was among the many country stars who gathered at People Magazine's Country Issue celebration back in August. Happy browsing, and have a great Thursday, everyone!
