Just in: Bucky Covington in Rockingham NC, Sept 26th

WHO: Former American Idol finalist and one of country music’s most genuine and exciting entertainers, Bucky Covington.

WHAT: Bucky Covington’s Homecoming! Covington will return to his roots in Rockingham, NC to give back to the community. Over the weekend he will take part in the Backpack Pals outreach program and will give a free concert in the Rockingham, NC town square. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or canned good to the concert for donation to Backpack Pals and the local food bank, Our Daily Bread. Requested food donations include items a child could easily open and prepare for themselves such as soup, fruit cups, cereal bars, pop tarts, pudding cups and juice boxes.

WHEN: On September 25th Bucky will assist with the Backpack Pals outreach program. The much anticipated homecoming concert will be held on September 26th at 7 pm.

WHERE: The concert will be held at Harrington Square in Rockingham, NC.

WHY: Bucky is giving his first hometown concert since competing on American Idol as a way to give back to the community that has supported him along the way. His charitable efforts will include assisting local food resources Backpack Pals and Our Daily Bread Christian Food Ministry.
