Quick Monday news: Bucky Covington at the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow, radio station shots, chart check and more...

This week's big event happens tomorrow--but there's still time for you to be part of the fun! Bucky Covington and his band are part of the Tuesday Night Opry program at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, along with Keith Anderson, former tourmate Jason Michael Carroll, Dailey & Vincent, Love & Theft, and the legendary Jimmy Dickens. The show gets underway at 7:00 pm local time, and a limited number of tickets are still available at Opry.com. (Use the coupon code from blog post at Bucky's MySpace for a discount off your total price.) A visit to Opry is a must--especially when Bucky's on the bill! We out of towners can listen in via WSM tomorrow evening...

We'll repeat that list of this week's shows from Sunday's post: catch Bucky and company at the Boone County Fair in Belvidere, IL on Wednesday, and enjoy some tasty summer fare--musical and culinary--at the WSLC Star B-Q in Roanoke, VA with Jessica Harp on Saturday. Bucky's MySpace calendar, Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page will keep you in the know--this hardworking bunch put on a stunning show!

If you haven't been to Buckytown USA yet, head over there right away--Fran and Renee have some exclusive (and beautiful) concert shots for you from the talented Measles and Traci J, and a stylish request banner by Bucky Krazy. It's a Monday morning tradition we love.

Monday morning at Mediabase is a tradition, too--Bucky's beautiful single "I Want My Life Back" is #36 with a bullet, and there are several new artists in that mid-thirties zone all aiming for Top 30 airspace this week. Bucky's looking for a few (make that many!) requests today to get that top 30 prize, and we're on board to help. We'll make sure our local country DJs, lunchtime request shows, "Top X at X' shows and favorite syndicated evening hosts all know we love hearing Bucky on the radio...

We'll close this quick update with a look at a photo gallery from last month's Night in the Country festival in Nevada, courtesy of K-Bull 98.1--there are just a couple of shots of Bucky in this set of 22 photos, but the gallery gives a real feel for what a fun day that must have been. (The festival itself has a photo gallery too, but they haven't updated with this year's shots--we live in hope!)

Finally, don't miss Colleen's great videos of Bucky's brand new live songs in our previous posts--check out "Giants" from this morning's early blog entry, and "Unchain My Heart" from Sunday afternoon. Huge thanks to Colleen for capturing the excitement--they're both winners!

Have a beautiful Monday, everyone--Winnie
