We're going to take the unusual step of immediately sending you away for a moment--if you haven't read Steve Cook's latest journal update at ShinyBass.com, get over there now. Steve's incredible "I'll Walk" story from the first Alameda show is one you won't want to miss...
Bucky Covington's Western concert sweep resumes in fine style tomorrow at the Linn County Fair in Albany, Oregon. (Concerts are free with paid admission, and it looks like that reserved seating closer to the stage might still be available--that's an extra $15.00, and well worth it.)
Next week, on July 23rd, Bucky and his band will rock the Jackson County Fair near Medford, Oregon. (Tickets are available online: $25 reserved, $15 lawn.) Sawyer Brown will top the bill that night, so those prices are a great bargain for two high-energy sets! 105.1 HANK-FM in Medford is sponsoring the show--keep listening for goodies...
After that, Bucky's got a couple more stops out West before the tour bus heads back East again; bookmark Buckytown USA's concert sidebar and Bucky Covington's official tour page, and you'll be in the know!

On the radio, "I Want My Life Back" [hear it here] is looking good at #36 with a bigger bullet than yesterday on the Mediabase published charts--movin' in the right direction! Keep the ball rolling with a request to your local country station today, and be sure to write WKML's Larry K at country@wkml.com and let him know you love hearing Bucky on their "Top 5 at 6". (If your country station has a "Top X at X", write to Larry and to your local DJ! Bucky's goin' for that Top 30 spot, and every phone call and email matters.)
We'll have more for you later today--come on back. Have a splendid Thursday!--Winnie
*And yes....yes, I am still very much diggin' the hat. Thanks for asking!
