See Bucky Covington at the Opry in August, and get a BOGO deal, too--hurry!

Will "Mexicoma" be one of the new tunes Bucky Covington and his band perform at the Grand Ole Opry in August? We sure hope so! From his show in San Angelo this spring, here's Bucky and his exceptionally cool dance moves, as captured by the very kind buckyandrockytxfan. Many thanks to her for sharing this video at YouTube.

There's an extremely sweet deal happening now at Opry.com, just in time for Bucky Covington's fans who plan to see him there on August 11th--but if you're eager to take advantage of this one, you've gotta move fast. (As in now!) Here's the scoop from the Opry's mailing list:

Just a reminder ... as an Opry Update subscriber, you have the opportunity to buy one Opry ticket and get one FREE* for any date in August through Labor Day when you use the coupon code FAN48!

*Order must be placed by 11:59 p.m. on August 1, 2009. Not valid on price level one. Valid on up to 8 tickets. Not combinable with any other offer, coupon, or discount. Not retroactive. Valid on events now through September 8, 2009. Artists and schedules subject to change.

This is the perfect chance to take along a country-loving friend, family member or significant other--or treat someone to a special surprise night of live country music by Bucky, Love and Theft, Keith Anderson, and perennial Opry favorite Jimmy Dickens. (As noted above, Opry schedules do change, sometimes very suddenly, so be sure to check the Opry calendar often.) And after you've snagged those very reasonably priced seats, why not celebrate with a request for "I Want My Life Back" at your local country station? It's a splendid song, live and on the radio...

More later--have a safe drive home!--Winnie
