The party starts tonight--Bucky Covington and his excellent band return to the concert stage after a few days off, and this evening's show at the Jackson County Fair in Central Point, Oregon is going to be a hot one. Bucky and company take the stage at 8pm, opening for Sawyer Brown. Buy your ticket online and pick it up at Will Call ( Gate 2, look for Will Call signs) or stop by the Lithia Amphitheater box office today. The cost is $25 for reserved seats, $15 lawn, and the fun is priceless!
Here's a fast rundown of the rest of this weekend's shows:
- Tomorrow, Friday 7/24: Bucky and company open for Sawyer Brown at the Night in the Country festival, sponsored by K-Bull 98.1. Tickets ($30 online, $40 at the gate) are available via the festival's site.
- Saturday, 7/25: Enjoy Bucky and the band at the Merced County Fair in Merced, California; headline acts are free with the price of admission. Buy and print your ticket online, or pay $10 for general admission to the fair at the gate. Sponsoring station KUBB has a backstage pass contest in progress, with a bonus prize of an autographed guitar; check the station's site for details, and good luck!

(He'll be trading places back and forth with a superstar's new release for a couple of days, we're guessing, but that steady bullet's always good to see when there's turbulence ahead.) On the weekly Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, Bucky's current single stands at #35 with a bullet--up from last week's #39. (Thanks to Diver for the Billboard info.)
