(A few tickets may still be available via MaxWeb tonight, and if so, snagging them now is strongly recommended...)
Thanks to Diver for this week's Billboard Hot Country Songs news; "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] currently graces that chart at #34 for the week. That's down one from last week, but with the red bullet indicating upward movement still present all week long at Mediabase, it's safe to assume the song was polevaulted yet again. (Frustrating, yes, but a slow and steady rise up the charts is still a rise...)
The good news is that the request lines, as always, are still open! This weekend's Fourth of July holiday might mean a lighter countdown boost as some stations opt for pre-recorded holiday programming, but there are plenty of opportunities remaining to show Bucky some love on your local country station. (And to everyone who wrote to WKML's Larry K at country@wkml.com this week, thanks! Bucky's latest made the "Top 5 at 6" tonight, and hearing him on your neighborhood Top X at X is a great way to get the weekend started tomorrow...)
