Bucky Covington's countdown Sunday, chart check and more...

Thanks to a very generous anonymous contributor for this great photo from Bucky Covington's show in Palmdale, CA. Click the image to find out when he and his excellent band will be coming your way!

The "extremely light news" weekend continues; Bucky Covington and his band are enjoying a break, and the charts are a bit quiet...for now. However, those sweet Saturday and Sunday countdown shows should give Bucky's new single a good airplay boost to start off the coming week! "I Want My Life Back" [hear it here] currently holds the #36 place on the Mediabase published chart, with a bright red bullet present and accounted for. You can enjoy Bucky's latest on Kix Brooks' American Country Countdown and Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, and if you're not sure when to tune in, click those links for info on each show's site or check Radiotime for streaming stations.

Other than that...crickets, y'all. This is the kind of mellow summer Sunday that calls for some peaceful, easy outdoor fun--and luckily, we can take a radio along. Give your local country DJ a call after the syndicated shows are over and request "I Want My Life Back". If you'd like to spend a summer day with Bucky and company live sometime soon, hop over to his official tour schedule and get ready for a rockin' time.

I'll try to round up some news for this evening's post--if there's any to be had! Meanwhile, here's a favorite video by the talented Danna Marie that fits right in with the easy breeziness of this Sunday afternoon--enjoy Bucky and the band's "Mexicoma", from the Odessa Graham Central Station stop back in the spring. (This song will be part of Bucky's upcoming sophomore album, set for release on September 8th--can't wait.) Many thanks to her for sharing the fun! See you soon--Winnie

WE were thrilled with Bucky's show at the LinnCounty Fair in Albany Oregon! Got to chat with Bucky, Rocky and the girls. All looked well adn happy and the show was screaming! It was the best I've seen them yet and I love them every time. Unfortunately we didn't get good performance pics becasue of the way the lights were set up. It was a great show and the crowd loved them!

    best!

  2. Hi, "Aunt" Sunny! It's so good to see you, and so good to hear that the show is a big hit out West. And how great that you had a chance to enjoy a good chat with everyone, too. Oregon is going to want them back ASAP! Awesome live music in a beautiful part of the world--what could be better? :)

Thanks for letting us all in on the fun!
