Here's a song to get you in a summertime party mood--Judy Lang enjoyed Bucky Covington's and his excellent band at the Missouri Civic Center a few months back, and she graciously shared this energetic "I'm Good" at her MySpace. Thanks, Judy!
A little bulletin-style update:
Just found out you'll be able to make it to the first ever Bucky Covington Fan Club Party in Nashville after all? His official site is offering will-call tickets for you lucky last-minute partygoers, but we'd recommend snapping them up fast. The party happens at Rocketown in downtown Nashville tomorrow evening at 5, and with a supper, a meet and greet with Bucky and a performance on the menu, a good time is a sure thing. Good luck and have fun tomorrow!

Big thanks to the talented Bucky Wild for this big, bold and beautiful request banner!
Those of us who can't be with Bucky and his fans tomorrow can enjoy him via the good old radio, where his new single, "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is climbing the charts at a sweet and steady pace. Today's Mediabase check puts it at #37 with a bullet, and our friend Diver left some additional chart news in comments: "Bucky is the 6th highest Aircheck Add Leader with 10 after George, Jason, B&D, Craig and Rodney. Bucky is #30 on [Country Aircheck's] Aircheck Activator." Thanks, Diver!
We love chart momentum around here--feel free to hit those lunchtime request and "Top X at X" shows on your local country station and ask for Bucky's latest. (Our guess is that Larry K at WKML would love to be among the radio personalities spinning "I Want My Life Back" during his very popular "Top 5 at 6" countdown--unfortunately, Bucky's song held the dreaded "inaudible" spot last night. Write him at country@wkml.com with a request for Bucky, and help brighten the drive home in Fayetteville...)
Rocky Covington and Bucky Covington on stage in Winchester, VA earlier this year; many thanks to Happydays for the photo. Our CMA Fest guide for Bucky's fans is right here, and with the festival just around the corner, it's a good idea to hit the official CMA Fest site for additional details, hints and tips. Tickets (both four-day passes and nightly seats) are still being sold on a limited basis, and the site has all the maps and schedules you'll need to make your trip a breeze. (The Riverstages shows are free, of course--bring your hat and sunblock and enjoy Bucky and a full lineup of country stars in the summer sun...)
We'll wrap things up with two notes from yesterday--be sure to check out the new contest at Bucky's official MySpace blog (win a chance to challenge Bucky to a round of ROCK BAND at CMA Fest and take home a Zune, too) and if you haven't seen these fun concert photos from WCTK, enjoy!
More later today--happy packing to all the Nashville-bound partiers, and happy Tuesday to all!--Winnie
