Bucky Covington's "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] has had a busy week moving up the charts; Sunday was anything but mellow on Mediabase, where a few songs went recurrent and Bucky's latest took yet another jump. It's now #37 on the published charts and #34 on the all-station rankings, with good-sized bullets. (Thanks, Diver!)
This coming week is crucial--not only is there chart volatility ahead as some go recurrent and others surge, but we definitely want Bucky to have braggin' rights at the CMA Fest! A song zooming up the charts as he meets his fans and takes the stage with his band is a sweet backdrop for all of next week's fun in Nashville. Be sure to let your local country DJ know how much you love Bucky's new tune on the request lines in the coming days, and if your station runs nationally syndicated shows on nights and/or weekends, keep the contact numbers below handy:

Speaking of "handy" (bad pun alert), a good friend of the blog mentioned that "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" was her all-time favorite Bucky Covington cover tune live, so we couldn't resist posting this excellent version taken by FLCathy in Jacksonville. Thanks so much to FLCathy for all her great concert memories! Be sure to bookmark Bucky's official tour page and the sidebar at Buckytown USA and get set to make some concert memories of your own.
Have a beautiful evening--Winnie
