Talk about energetic! This up-close-and-personal "Ol' Kentuck" video captures Bucky Covington and his band rockin' the house at Cattle Annie's in Lynchburg back in January. Thanks to LoCashFan for posting it at YouTube, and thanks also to the kind fan who was there and wanted to see it shared here--enjoy!
If you're headed to Bucky's sure-to-be-energetic show at Night in the Country in Nevada on July 24th, here's a ticket update for you; you can snag yours at Scolari's stores, or online at the festival's website through Elevate. Bucky will open for Sawyer Brown, and both one-day and two-day general admission tickets are available at $30 and $50, respectively. Sponsoring radio station K-Bull 98.1 has an even better price for you, if you're a lucky listener this week--how does free sound? From their site:
All day Thursday, June 18th...Trips and Tickets continues.
Listen all day this Thursday at :20 past the hour from 6am - 7pm for your cue to call the Bull Horn @ 793-1098....and a chance to win FREE tickets to the Night in the Country Music Festival, July 24th & 25th !
Good luck to Bucky's Reno-area fans--hope you're among the winners!
Finally, a reminder about tonight's CMT Music Awards in Nashville--the big show gets underway at 8 pm Eastern/7 Central on CMT (naturally), and while Bucky's not among the nominees this year, it's very likely that the as-yet-unmade video for "I Want My Life Back" will be up for some honors next time around. What's the holdup on that video for Bucky's newest emerging hit? Unofficial word has it that it'll be made once the song hits the Top 25 or so...and if that isn't incentive for a few more drive-time and "Top X at X" requests, I don't know what is. (Call, y'all!) Have a safe drive home, and we'll see you later this evening--Winnie
