Bucky Covington and Steve Cook rock the house during a recent show in Chattanooga; photo courtesy of the very gracious Diver. Thanks again!
Many thanks to the kind anonymous commenter in the previous post who left us some good news from today's Mediabase charts: "Bucky is # 42 on published and #41 on 'all stations' this morning!" "I Want My Life Back" [hear Bucky Covington's new single at his MySpace] is definitely on a chart roll this week--Top 40 is just around the corner, y'all. (Feel free to help speed along that happy day with a well-timed radio request...)
There are terrific changes happening at Bucky's official site, BuckyCovington.com; if you haven't been there lately, hop over and see the newly enhanced and updated Tour page, which now offers web info for the various dates below the listings, and try the RSS link in the right sidebar on the News page. Keeping up with Bucky's concert schedule has never been easier! If you're a new fan (Howdy! Unofficial ad alert... ) you'll want to check out the Bucky Covington fan club, too--meet and greet opportunities, fun grab bag goodies, official message board access, 2009 Fan Club Party info and more.
Bucky Covington listens intently to a Fox reporter's question at the Opryland hotel before his Grand Ole Opry debut; today's fun "blast from the past" photo courtesy of the very kind Sweettealove. (Thanks!)Other than that, it's a slow-ish news day so far...but those ongoing polls are still open and in need of your vote. Stop in and give Bucky a boost in the "Country's Sexiest Bachelor" survey at Today's Country Magazine, and please pick the video for "It's Good to Be Us" in GAC's Top 20 Songs of Summer poll. (GAC is also offering a CMA Music Festival Sweepstakes, with hotel/airfare/concert passes and plenty of extras--it'd sure be cool to see one of Bucky's fans on the winner's list. Good luck!) More very soon--Winnie
Thanks for the heads up about the updated tour page at Bucky's fan site. Only one little problem, some of the M&G boxes are not accessible now.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh...site renovation issues are sticky (ask me how I know...sigh) and that's one the people at Bucky's official site would definitely want to know about, since it affects a very popular feature. Hope the M&G links are accessible by the time you read this, but if not, maybe a note via the Contact page over there would be in order. Thanks for the heads-up!
