Quick Thursday news: viva Las Vegas and more...

Bucky Covington at the KNCI Country in the Park concert in Sacramento last summer; photo by the gracious Minnie, who shares more of her beautiful images from the show in her Photobucket gallery. Thanks again, Minnie!

Bucky Covington and his band will join Dierks Bentley poolside at the Red Rock Resort Sandbar in Las Vegas tomorrow. (As we all know, anything could happen in Vegas and most of it probably will. ) If you'd like to be there for the musical part of the party, tickets may still be available at the Station Casinos online box office, or stop in at the the Red Rock box office on 11011 W. Charleston Blvd. After that, the Throttle Wide Open stars hit the big Stagecoach Festival in California on Saturday--Bucky, Dierks and Luke Bryan will all be playing the Mane Stage during the course of the day.

Nowhere near the West this weekend? Bucky's extensive concert schedule very likely includes a stop near you sometime this spring or summer--check out his official tour list, and make plans to enjoy a live, rockin' concert you won't forget!

Bucky's latest single, "I'll Walk", begins the day where it ended yesterday on the Mediabase weighted chart, where it's #62 with a bullet. His official site has posted audio and some great new buttons and graphics for your MySpace, blog, email signatures or website; click here to see them all and get the code for easy posting. Bucky's fans have also been busy and very creative--check out Robin's beautiful beach-themed "I'll Walk" banner below (click to view full size):

Our talented friend Robin made this banner to promote Bucky's new single, "I'll Walk"--thanks so much to her for sharing it!

Around the net, you'll find some fun observations on "concert withdrawal syndrome" from Midask9 on her It's Good to Be Us blog today. (We can relate!) Country's Chatter features news on Kenny Chesney's stage mishap--country performers are some of the most dedicated in all the world, bar none. Get well soon, Kenny! Nikki's Simply a Bucky Fan has a redesigned layout with a bright new banner--very stylish!

And Steve Cook's Shiny Bass Journal is freshly updated and worth the wait, as always--hop over there now and read his latest well-written missive from the road.

Bucky's the star (with a photo) of Neil Haislop's excellent Country Q and A column at GAC's site today, where a fan asked about the the airtime given to Bucky's videos. (Edited to add a heads-up from diamondstarbc: "They [GAC] are running a Top 20 countdown commercial featuring Bucky. Really cute commercial. I saw it four times yesterday." Keep your eyes out for this one--sounds like fun! Thanks to diamondstarbc for the tip.)

A quick trip to CMAFest.com will make you smile--Bucky's among the rotation of big, splashy star photos used on the main page, and his name is in the crawl up top as well. (Thanks to a kind elf for pointing it out.) Bucky's performing in this year's CMA Fest nightly concerts at LP Field--go to the Fest's site for info on the whole celebration, including ticket and package options. (And be sure to check out CMT's dazzling CMA Fest sweepstakes, too. Going for free is even more fun...)

Come on, y'all know you want this shirt!Speaking of CMT and wins, a huge congrats to our good friend Diver, who won a piece of country music memorabilia to treasure--she was the winning bidder in the One Country charity auction for Bucky's "Real Good Man" Scully Gunfighter shirt. (There is apparently much, much love for this photo, judging by our mailbox, so...here it is again. It's no longer being offered at Posters.com, but we'll keep an eye out and if it turns up elsewhere, we'll pass the link along. Thanks for writing...)

More very soon--see you later today!
