Bucky Covington faces a windy sound check during his Indiana State Fair show last summer; click here to enjoy more concert photos by the very generous Buckybaby01. (Thanks again, Buckybaby!)Bucky Covington got a fun quote --and a great photo in the artists' slideshow--in this preview of the upcoming Stagecoach Festival that ran in today's Orange County Register. Here's what he had to say about the joys of summertime festival shows:
If you'd like to be among those there for the excitement (and the tailgating), head over to the official Stagecoach site now; the festival takes place May 3 and 4, 2008 in Indio, CA. Have a fantastic Saturday night!--WinnieOne part of the Stagecoach experience might be the perceived approachability of country's artists. With their music geared specifically toward working-class people and ideals, some of the artists at Stagecoach enjoy coming off the stage and soaking up the atmosphere with the people who paid to get in.
"I look out there in the crowd and I see people havin' the time of their life in these festivals," Bucky Covington said. "I'd love to go tailgatin' and that, and every so often I do slip out and do some tailgatin'."
