Bucky Covington sat down with Justin Pazera of Fox affiliate KEVN before his Rapid City concert last night for a video interview; I'd love to tell you what they discussed, but Edited to add a couple of time-sensitive radio announcements--we want to make sure you don't miss out on anything tomorrow! From HI-99 in Terre Haute comes this update about Bucky's Indiana Theatre show:
HI-99 WTHI proudly welcomes American Idol finalist Bucky Covington to the Indiana Theatre on Friday, June 20th. The season five finalist will be joined by special guests Jeff Bates, Emily West, and Katie Armiger.
Tickets go on-sale Friday, April 25th at the Indiana Theatre from 10:00am – 5:00pm (EST). Tickets will be available during normal business hours at the HI-99 Studios and Indiana Theatre box office, beginning Monday, April 28th. Ticket prices are $26.50 for the floor and lower section, and $19.50 for the upper section. This will be a reserved seating show!
And clear across the country, Tim Blair of 94.1 KPMS has some winning words for tomorrow:
All day this Friday (4/25), KMPS is giving YOU the CHOICE to win your way in to see either CHRIS CAGLE on Friday September 5th, OR BUCKY COVINGTON on Saturday September 6th, at The Puyallup Fair! And BOTH shows include the excitement of the PUYALLUP PRO RODEO! Listen to win EVERY HOUR this Friday, from 7AM to 5PM! Be caller #25 at 1.800.464.94FM when you hear your cue to call.
Sure looks like the spring and summer concert season is well underway! We'll keep you posted right here, and check Bucky's official site often for more news. Have a great evening--Winnie
Anyone else having trouble opening the video? I've tried turning off pop-up blocker etc...Nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteGo to the bottom of the screen and scroll down to the 23rd and the Bucky interview.....
ReplyDeleteSelect the video from there, works great.....
Bucky is releasing a new CD soon?
I am not sure that announcer got that right. This album has several more hits. ("Bible & the Belt" as well as "I'm Good" and "Hometown" for example! He has said in several interviews that he is "working" on it but taking his time but has never mentioned "releasing it soon" to my knowledge.
ReplyDeleteHi, Anons and It's Just Water!
ReplyDeleteThe video only worked for me after I switched to IE (I usually use Firefox), downloaded a lot of Windows media codecs and cleared my cache. Hoping you don't have to go through all that, and that It's Just Water's excellent advice solves it for you in a simpler way...
And Anon 6:11, you're right. I'm pretty sure Bucky told Rodney Ho of the Constitution-Journal that the next album wouldn't be out until '09...so in the meantime, we can look forward to some hit singles from this one!
