Opry preshow interview...(updated again)

Bucky Covington peeks over his shoulder in this fun photo taken by Dana on Thursday at Wild Country in Collinsville, IL. Bucky was there for a taping of the local St. Louis Country show, which airs Saturday nights at 11:35 on KMOV in St. Louis, MO. "Bucky was, as always, fun, gracious and wonderful", she writes. Thanks so much for the photos, Dana!

9:29 p.m. ET: Hey, y'all...don't touch that dial! The televised portion of the Opry is over, but the show's still in progress on WSM--Bucky's scheduled to perform again in the 9:30 Central/10:30 Eastern segment, after Jeannie Seely and the Del McCoury Band. Enjoy!--Winnie

7:00 p.m. ET
: Bucky was interviewed on WSM's preshow, and he had much to say about Southern cooking (better back home than in LA,) his first time at the Ryman tonight (he's excited!), Elvis' Opry debut (which was also Elvis' last Opry show) and the songs he'll be doing this evening. (Come on into comments if you want a spoiler about tonight's musical selections...)

Bucky's singing "It's Good to Be Us" first, "Susupicious Minds" during the break (meaning you'll hear this one for sure on WSM but it may or may not make the Opry GAC show) and "A Different World." So....no "new single" spoiler tonight, but a good time guaranteed. :)

Perhaps, his hand is the result of signing about 200 items today at the sound and speed!! lol

  7. I loved Bucky's secondperformance--he was so funny with the stage banter, and I wonder who gave him the flowers?

The Vietti jingle seems to be taking the night off--guess they don't sponsoer every Saturday. Bummer...I miss the "kick in the can". ;)
