First look at Sunday: tour updates at Bucky's MySpace calendar...(updated)

Bucky Covington shares a smile from the stage at the Turning Stone Resort, 7/27; photo by the very generous Janie. You can enjoy more of her fantastic concert shots here . Thanks so much, Janie! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music videos for "It's Good to Be Us" and "A Different World" are available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his singles at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.

Saturday morning's post contained a word or two about the ever-changing nature of concert tour schedules; this morning's updates at Bucky Covington's MySpace tour calendar prove that point. Information on several new shows (mainly dates with Dierks Bentley) has been added, and a few early spring stops have been changed.

Please note that the dates on the MySpace calendar are correct as of today
; the tour page at Bucky's official site will be updated to reflect the changes in a few days, and I'll be working on the sidebar here as well. Good luck, and I hope Bucky and his terrific band will be heading your way this year!

Other than that, it's a fairly quiet news morning so far. Here are a few weekend reminders to get Sunday going..

Chart news: As of this morning, "It's Good to Be Us" has spent a solid week in the Top 20 at #20 on both the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts. That's some staying power! Those of us who have local country stations with tight playlists have probably found it easier to get our requests for Bucky's toe-tapping single played now that that milestone's been reached--and the next milestone is inspiration to keep those requests flying. The charts are super competitive right now, but there's nothing like a challenge to motivate Bucky's fans. We're up to it...

Upcoming shows: The long term calendar has changed (see above) but the rest of January is set in stone-- see Bucky at the Pullo Performing Arts Center in York PA on January 25 (tickets here), and opening for Trace Adkins at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA on January 31 (see ad in sidebar).

On the tube and around the net: Bucky's got two brief but fun "guest spots" on this week's nationally syndicated countdowns--you can hear him with Kix Brooks on American Country Countdown (check Radiotime for stations) ; and on Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 (station list at Radiotime--all times are Central.) And be sure to watch this week's GAC Top 20 Country Countown at 1:00 p.m. ET today--Bucky spilled the beans (or the grease!) about his camping accident during a video interview snippet taken during the Sound and Speed red carpet.

Team Covington is newly updated with a look at the revised concert calendar and some positive words about Bucky via the Charleston Gazette; and there's plenty of fun to catch up on at The Covington Times, too.

Watch Bucky's video now at CMT.com, and give him some love at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack.

More soon--have a splendid Sunday!
