Coffee break news: polls-a-plenty...(updated)

Bucky Covington on stage at the Blind Horse Saloon in Greenville, 11/24; photo by the very kind Happydays, who shares more great concert shots in her Photobucket gallery. Thanks again!

If you're taking a mid-day break, why not take a moment to let your opinion be known? Three ongoing, just-for-fun polls are currently in progress. A big thanks to Kathy of Team Covington for tipping us off to this one; mega-popular blog Rickey.org is asking readers to choose their favorite American Idol album of 2007, and Bucky Covington could use a little representation. Vote right here, and have fun--the poll closes on January 7th. (Thanks also to Buckyflowers.)

Also closing on the 7th--this week's Country Music song battle at About.com. Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" is the challenger, and he's facing an eight-week winner. Can he beat the odds? Hop over there and help...

(If you'd like to catch Bucky on the big screen during your next coffee break, his video's set to air at about 4:12 p.m. ET on GAC-TV.)

Edited to add some good news from a kind anonymous commenter--looks like the holidays didn't stop Bucky's upward climb on the Radio & Records country singles chart. "It's Good to Be Us" is now #24--a notch higher than last week. More later--Winnie
