Quick Tuesday news: radio gallery roundup, Sears Centre correction and more...

Bucky Covington onstage at Floyd's Music Store in Tallahasse Florida, 12/16; photo by the very generous Happydays, who shares more of her lovely concert shots at Photobucket. Thanks again, Happydays! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "It's Good to Be Us" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear his music atCMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.

The day begins with a correction--although Bucky Covington's fan club briefly offered a special presale starting tomorrow for a 2/15 show at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL, the current event listing at the venue's site shows a Sawyer Brown show "with special guests Chris Young, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Phil Stacey, and Rissi Palmer." Bucky Covington will not be at this show--but Sawyer Brown sure will, and they're a blast live! Apologies for the confusion. (If you want to catch Bucky on stage that week, he'll be opening for Dierks Bentley in Gainesville, FL on 2/14; snag a ticket right here and enjoy a fantastic night of music...)

And speaking of fantastic nights of music in Florida (nice segue, yes?) the radio stations that sposnored Bucky's concerts in Bradenton and Tallahasse last weekend have posted three fun galleries for your viewing pleasure. 94.9 TNT in Tallahassee has some fun meet and greet shots for us. (Some of those smiling faces look delightfully familiar!) Bucky's show at Joyland in Bradenton was sponsored by 106.5 CTQ, and they've posted two sets of shots--a meet and greet gallery, and a gallery from the Joyland performance, featuring wild shots of Bucky, Rocky, the band and a rather, um, "intriguing" stage prop, among other things. Enjoy!

Enjoying Bucky on the radio is a snap--we're posting a bit early for the Tuesday morning Mediabase update, but Bucky's newest single, "It's Good to Be Us", held the #26 spot on both the weighted and Top 500 charts at last check, and his irresistible holiday charmer, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" (available as a digital single at WalMart Music, Yahoo Music or iTunes, y'all) brightened up the weighted listings at #80. (Country Aircheck reports that Bucky's exuberant spin on that Christmas classic is now #25 in overall country holiday airplay--way to go, Bucky!)

Check out Pure 12 Pack on CMT.com. See show times, episodes and vote on your favorite videos. As for TV news, you can catch Bucky's video for "It's Good to Be Us" on GAC twice today--this morning at 9:10 ET, and again at 4:33 p.m.--and we'd love to see it go higher on those video countdowns this weekend, too! Watch the video now at CMT, and vote for it on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown, CMT's Top 20 Countdown and at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack.

We'll wind things up for now with a quick look at some fresh new video on YouTube; Lisa/Judge of Buck Wild fame just posted an full-length version of Bucky singing a mellow, bluesy "Hometown" to a very appreciative audience at Floyd's in Tallahasse; and Kaitybeee captured Bucky dancing up a storm in Allentown in her clip of Bucky's "I'm Good" performance at the Crocodile Rock. Thanks to both kind videographers for sharing the fun!

More soon--enjoy your Tuesday!

Yes, I unfortunately see a couple of fans I know VERY well on the Tallahasse station...where were the cameras?? lol .The young blind girl touching Bucky's face to "see" him is very moving to me at the Joyland M&G.

  2. I loved catching a couple of familiar smiling faces in the meet and greet shots--everyone looked like they were having a great time! :) And the photos of Bucky's young blind admirer "seeing" him for the first time were just beautiful.

    Thanks for stopping in, Anon!
