Bucky Covington at "New Faces Of Country Music" for CRS-39

Click to visit Mr. Clifton's gallery at Smugmug. Mike Clifton of Local Sports Online was on hand for Bucky Covington's concert at Wild Bill's in Atlanta in June, and his stunning gallery of shots from the show is an absolute must-see. Thanks again to Mr. Clifton for his incredible images--his contact info is available at the gallery link, and his beautiful work speaks for itself. Enjoy!

Bucky Covington has just been announced as one of the five selected performers for this year's New Faces Of Country Music show at the annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS-39), which takes place in March of 2008. (The official announcement and artist bios are linked from the front page at CRB.org.) Artists for this prestigious showcase are voted upon by radio industry representatives, and attendance is limited to CRS-39 registrants and guests. This year's New Faces are Luke Bryan, Jason Michael Carroll, Bucky Covington, Jake Owen and Taylor Swift.

Edited to add
a little more background from CMT.com: "The showcase is often considered a make-or-break performance for new country artists. Country Radio Seminar, which attracts radio programmers from throughout the nation, will be held March 5-7 in Nashville." Huge congratulations to Bucky on this major industry honor! (Thanks to the very kind buckymouse for the good news.) More soon--Winnie

    You go Bucky!!!
Im so proud of the Bucky, who knew this is what would happen when we saw him on the idol stage for the first time.
    too the top we go!

Its nice to see these great things happen, since all 8th place idol finishers fall off the face of the earth. And whats cool about this new honor is that none of us voted for it. lol

This is great news....whomever wrote the first copy called Bucky's single "In A Different World" and this error is being repeated each time it is re-printed...oh, well...I guess everyone knows what they meant. Really insignificant but it drives me nuts.
