Thanks to the very talented Janie for this extremely fresh photo from Lincoln, where she ran into Bucky Covington's gracious bandmates Don Medlock and Rocky Covington earlier today. Bucky's show at Uncle Ron's will be underway soon; stay tuned for more photos and fun ahead. Many thanks to Janie for sharing the great shot, and to Don and Rocky for the smiles! (Click the image to view full size.)Here's a bit more information about the Trace Adkins concert in Johnstown PA, via the Tribune Democrat; it'll be held at the War Memorial Arena, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on 12/7. You can snag yours at the arena ticket office (ticket request form available here) or charge by phone at 1-800-243-8499. The local number is 536-5156. Trace and Bucky in one night is a formula for a fantastic time--hope you'll be there!
Edited to add a sales update from our friend Marzy: "Sales #'s are in....Bucky sold 2,600 UP from 2,000 last week for a total of 298,000." 300,000 is just around the corner, y'all. (Thanks, Marzy!)
Edited again to add a link to Bucky's MySpace blog, where some news about Bucky's CMT Music City Madness 2 hosting gig has just been posted--looks like we'll have some extra opportunities to catch the "madcap recaps"! Here's the updated list of showtimes:
Tuesday, 12/4 at 10:00a ET (premiere)
Wednesday, 12/5 at 6:00a ET
Wednesday, 12/5 at 1:30p ET

Friday, 12/7 at 7:30a ET
Saturday, 12/8 at 9:30a ET

As always, you're invited to add Bucky Covington as a MySpace friend--it's the quickest way to keep up with what's happening in his world, and right now, it's also the only way to enjoy his rockin' version of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" online. (If you haven't heard this yet, you are in for a holiday treat--get over there now!)
Finally, a reminder popped into our email box, and it is definitely worth sharing--these are the last few hours for this week's CMT Pure Country Pure 12-Pack voting. Our opportunity to help Bucky reclaim that #1 spot ends on Thursday. Vote now, vote often! More soon--Winnie

Moon, you are a sweetheart--thanks for your kindness! (And when are we going to be at the same show again? Soon, I hope.) It's good to be back. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL--I didn't see you there, Kathy! :) Rocky does look dashing in that Fox hoodie--I actually went over the the site to have a look and the Fox collection for ladies (both motocross gear and casual stuff) is very cool indeed!
ReplyDelete(Maybe the Covington brothers should model for Fox? They both wear it well... :)
I have been saying they need an endorsement deal with them lol We have a Fox store in town and I think I need a new shirt! I wonder if they have pink lol I am sure our store does not, they just have t shirts and jerseys like Bucky and Rocky wore in the video(ooo wonder if they have that one??? note to self) and the actual bikes, helmets etc.
