By request, Bucky Covington strums in the sunshine at an outdoor show in Turlock, CA earlier this year; click here to enjoy a beautiful set of concert photos by the very kind Minnie. Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music videos are available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full versions of his singles at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered through his official site or via his official fan club.(Edited to add a link right up top to some very fresh clips from Bucky's recent concert at the Texas Club in Baton Rouge, posted at YouTube by the very talented DiamondstarBC. Thanks so much for these excellent videos!)
Bucky Covington's been so busy lately that it's been hard to keep up--so for those who'd prefer not to wade through the heavy-duty posts from the last few days--believe me, I understand!--here's a slightly more concise look at what's been happening:
Bucky will appear on GAC's On the Streets today; check the show's homepage for airtimes in your neck of the woods. (You can also catch his new and very exciting video for his single "It's Good to Be Us" on the air at GAC and online at CMT.com.)
"It's Good to Be Us" has just been added to the ballot at GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown! Click that link once a day, scroll down until you see his album cover, and show Bucky some love with a big ol' vote...
And voting with requests is a nice way of sharing some affection, too--Bucky's new tune has moved up to#33 on the Mediabase weighted chart and holds the #32 spot on the Top 500. However, those bullets are in major need of some heft! We're still aiming for a solid Top 30 or higher space for "It's Good to Be Us" in time for Bucky's introduction at the CMA Awards on 11/7--our phone calls and e-requests are the best way to help make it happen. We learned a lot from Bucky's Top Five debut splash--and we know now we've got power at the tips of our dialing and typing fingers...
Bucky and his co-headlining tourmate Jason Michael Carroll sat down for an interview with Justin Wilfon of Fox 23 in Tulsa; you'll find links to both the edited version (featuring some excellent soundcheck and backstage footage) and the longer, uncut interview (with Jason and Bucky chatting up a storm) right here at Fox 23.And if you liked hearing the two best selling new country artists of 2007 talk, you'll love hearing them sing! Here's a list of the remaining dates for the extremely hot-ticket Raisin' the Bar tour, featuring Bucky Covington, co-headliner Jason Michael Carroll and special guests Cole Deggs & the Lonesome. Be sure to snag your ticket as soon as possible, y'all. Between the positive word of mouth about this tour, and the blitz of TV appearances by Bucky and Jason, the news is out--and the seats are sought-after. Get yours fast!

The news blog at American Idol.com spotlights Bucky's video for "It's Good to Be Us" this week, and this fun post comes complete with links to a video and an 11-page gallery of photos from the video shoot. Bookmark that spot for an upcoming exclusive interview with Bucky!
Two radio stations shared some fresh new concert and backstage photo galleries in the past few days; head over to KVOO in Tulsa for their...er, "unique perspective" on the highlights of the Raisin' the Bar tour, and to KASE for shots from the "Concert for the Cure", which featured Bomshel and Bucky.
And last (whew!) but definitely not least, there's some beautiful new and classic video available at YouTube--check out Jeano222's lovely clip from Bucky's performance at Mo's Place in Katy, and Circletree's rare vintage footage of Bucky's bandmates Don Medlock and Rocky Covington performing with their previous groups Skracht Apple and Rhizing Khind.
More very soon--enjoy your Tuesday!
