Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington (scroll down) glow in these stunning photos by the very kind AmaTexMom, who shares more of her beautiful images from the recent KGRT-sponsored Las Cruces show at her site, BuckyFanPics. Thanks for capturing these classic shots, AmaTexMom! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video for "A Different World" is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered at his official site or via his official fan club.Bucky Covington's taking a well-deserved break for a few days--he, Rocky, Don, Hans and Shaun will be back on stage Wednesday evening, when they'll rock the Texas Club in Baton Rouge for a concert sponsored by WYNK. (The show will benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and tickets for this one may still be available at Ticketmaster--it's always best to get yours right away!) But while we wait for the live-music fun to start up again this week, sweet memories of a recent show are available at BuckyFanPics, where AmaTexMom's truly beautiful shots of his Las Cruces stop await. Many thanks to AmaTexMom for sharing these striking images!
There's also a bit of memory-lane strolling to enjoy at YouTube, where two new short clips from Bucky's Chillicothe show have been added (our kudos to the kind videographer) and at GoFish, where the talented Lisa has compiled lots of lovely concert footage at the Original Bucky Covington Live channel. And of course, the ongoing party at Bucky's official MySpace blog is in full swing--check out the "concert photos and memories" blog post to enjoy many goodies from past live shows, and if you're a MySpace friend of Bucky's, feel free to post your own. (Not a MySpace friend of Bucky's yet? What are you waiting for? Add him now and enjoy full access to contests, news bulletins and much, much more.) Much love to all of Bucky's talented friends and fans for sharing their time and talents!Kathy at Team Covington has a goodie to share with you, too--hop over there now for news on Bucky's Country Weekly/Chevy Country Music Calendar page, including a newer and easier link for the downloadable online version. Those of us who found the gorgeous ultra high-tech ChevyNation.com site a bit much for our browsers are exceedingly thankful to Kathy for this alternate link. (Some fans have already noted trouble finding the Country Weekly issue with the calendar on their newsstands; if you're among them, please drop a note in comments and we'll put our heads together...)
We'll wind down for the morning with a quick look at Mediabase, where Bucky's radio fortunes are holding steady--"It's Good to Be Us" is once again gracing the #38 spot on the Mediabase weighted chart, and it's #35 on the Top 500. Keep requesting "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, and get ready for another week of "Top X at X" excitement and that possible video debut on GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown. We've got our fingers crossed for that one! (Thanks to our friend Dixie, who just mentioned that she heard Bucky's new tune on Kix Brooks' ACC Top 40 this morning--Radio & Records has "It's Good to Be Us" at #39 with a bullet for the week that just passed. Edited to add that it was #37 on Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 Countdown; thanks to a kind anon in comments for the update. Way to go, Bucky! )
More very soon--see you later today!
WOW! Great shots Ananmom! Especially liked seeing Rocky with his hair down! Awesome one of Bucky with hair flying also!

ReplyDeleteKix said "what is he about 22"....lol....a bit off but still he was so enthusiastic about Bucky and his music and his upcoming video on the countdown today. :)
ReplyDeleteThat Chevy sight is hard tonavigate. They are too flashy for their own good lol I think the issue must have just hit stands because my mom got one yesterday and called me, but I still have not seen it on my side of town.
ReplyDeleteI still have not had any luck finding the calendar! I am going to check out a few more grocery stores later this afternoon...keeping my fingers crossed!! :)
ReplyDeleteI subcribe to Country Weekly and it has not come to my house so I went to Walmart yesterday and bought it. Hope you can find one there if you have a Walmart nearby. It is in a plastic wrap with Alan Jackson & family on the cover. BF

Hi...heard JMC was on a countdown...does anyone know which one? Talking about Raisin' the Bar tour? Any details please. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! Hope Kimberly and everyone that wanted to get a calendar with the magazine today was able to find it after all. Kathy, I agree--Chevy Nation looked fine on my friend's PC but when I tried it on the ePinto here, I had to reboot. Pogo, hi--thanks for the update on Mediabase!
ReplyDeleteAnd Anon, I missed the countdowns today but I hope someone will have the word on what JMC talked about--I think the Raisin' the Bar tour is truly getting some great buzz lately!
