Bucky Covington at the Chowan County Fairgrounds, 9/21

Here's a bit more about that upcoming Chowan County Regional Fairgrounds show in Edenton, North Carolina, courtesy of the kind folks at IdolStages.com: Bucky Covington will be appearing on September 21st, and tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the gate, according to the "upcoming events" page on the Fairgrounds site. For ticket information, please call (252) 482-2297. (IdolStages is newly linked in our sidebar, as well--it's a fun way for live-music junkies to keep up with the latest.) More soon!

(Edited 9/17--a kind commenter just reported that the lineup has changed; Kellie Pickler was originally scheduled to appear the same night, but that's apparently no longer so. We'll try to get more info about the final lineup as soon as possible--stay tuned!-- Winnie)

Wonder why Idol Stages failed to mention Bucky's 41 upcoming performances through December? Only 13 are radio events. Would like everyone to be able to see his numbers too!

  3. Hello, Anon and Anon! :)

Anon 3:35, from what I can gather, the numbers on IdolStages come form the big concert records services (Pollstar, etc.)--and not every venue reports to the services. My guess is that that's especially true for smaller-town and rural venues. (My other guess is that they'd probably love to get more info, too--it's frustrating not to have as much news as possible when you're doing a site! :)

And thanks for the good Mediabase news, Marzy--wow. Bucky might go Top 40 by this time tomorrow at this rate!

Kellie is no longer scheduled to appear at this concert.

Not sure what happened. The venue said they couldn't reach an agreement.

cool site Winnie, thanks for adding it.
Daughtry in Singapore & Australia, Elliott in the Philippines, Bucky all over the USA. those Idol boys are everywhere!
nice 10 point bump up the Jump chart in 2 days. #21 with +218 movement. the radio events should help increase the number of stations playing his second Single. I'm sure Lyric Street has some influence as do our emails and calls. Let's get those 71 stations up to 220! yeah Marzy, Top 40 here he comes! pogo

  8. Hi there Pogo! :) You're so right--the Idol guys are really knocking it out of the park worldwide! And that Jump chart news is very good, indeed--this single's definitely growing some wings. Thanks!

  9. Hey, Unknown! I am going to have to check out that Kelly Willis/Robbie Fulks duet now--looks like I have some musical catching up to do. (I have heard great things about both, so I'm probably wise to clear off a spot on my CD rack, yes?) Thanks and take care!
