He also spoke a bit about the joy of touring:What do you do when a complete stranger hands you her infant to hold, then wants you to pose for a picture with the child and - believe it or not - autograph the baby?
"I was scared to death I was gonna hurt the little fella," singer Bucky Covington said. "But I did it, and it's just part of everything going on right now."
"The best part about this whole thing is the shows," Covington said. "Coming off a show and hearing people scream your name and hearing them sing along to the single; it's an amazing feeling."

And if singing along with the radio is your thing, Bucky's new single, "It's Good to Be Us" is an excellent choice--crank it up! Its pre-release climb continues today with a #67 notch on the Mediabase weighted chart, and it's #70 on the Top 500. Looks like the big US99 in Chicago gave it a bit of airtime yesterday--and it already seems to be an emerging hit in Detroit on WYCD, and in Riverside on KFRG. Bucky's "Top 5 at 6" buzz continues on WKML this week, as well--he came in at #4 last night.
Fayetteville's top country station is super friendly to their out-of town listeners, by the way!
