Coffee break news: Bucky Covington's "Insider" clip at CMT Loaded, Dewey Beach party, and more (updated)

Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington (on drums) on stage May 10th at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville; visit Music City Update for a beautiful gallery of concert photos by Aaron Crisler.

(Edited to add a link to this video interview at WTAP in Ohio; Bucky chatted with the news team there during preparations for his show at tonight's Belpre Homecoming.)

Thanks to the_mumbler for this kind heads-up in comments: "Bucky's CMT Insider clip is on CMT Loaded now...it should be the first video under the 'Featured' tab. It sounds like the kids that went really enjoyed him coming to the Idol Camp!" A segment on his Idol Camp stop will also air on the good old television version of CMT Insider tomorrow afternoon, with repeats all weekend long--click here for airtimes.

And here's a bit more about yesterday's muddy but fun Ross County Fair concert, via Lyric Street Records:

Last night Bucky Covington was scheduled to headline a show at the fairgrounds in Chillicothe, OH to benefit Rock For Tots, a children's charity that supports 25 children's organizations throughout southern Ohio. As the day progressed the skies opened up with torrential rains, lightning and 50 mph winds -- by the time the storms passed much of the equipment onstage was damaged from the heavy rains. Not wanting to disappoint, Bucky went out into the grandstands to perform an acoustic set and sign autographs for fans.

(Hey, what have we been telling you all these months? Go on out to a Bucky Covington show, y'all--you'll have a good time, no matter what...)

If you'd like to have a really good time this coming Sunday, Bucky's got you covered in Dewey Beach, Delaware (a nice trip from the NYC area; tickets available at Ticketmaster now). The Wilmington News-Journal has all the information you need about his show at the Bottle and Cork, along with a fun profile of Bucky and a terrific photo.

Finally, a reminder about tomorrow night's conference call--Hildi will sponsor a call from Bucky's show at the State Theater in State College, PA. (Check the State's online box-office for ticket availability--some very good seats have been released in the past couple of days.) Thanks to Hildi and crew for sharing the fun!

And be sure to share the fun of "A Different World" with your fellow syndicated country radio show listeners tonight; Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen, Danny Wright All Night and After Midnite all take requests, and they're all waiting to hear from you...

Have a beautiful evening!--Winnie
