By request (again!), Bucky Covington at an autograph signing session during this year's CMA Fest. Visit Music City Update for lots of fantastic Nashville event photos by Aaron Crisler. (Photo by Aaron Crisler/ Music City Update.com.)As of now, it doesn't look as though Bucky Covington will be a part of ABC's "CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock" special (airing Monday, July 23 at 9:00-11:00 PM/ET)--but it looks as though he's definitely part of the CMA Fest webisodes at ABC.com. From the CMA press release:
CMA Music Festival drew a record crowd of 191,000 from every state and 21 foreign countries and Guiney and his crew were in the thick of it including backstage interviews with Martina McBride and Sugarland during the nightly stadium concerts at LP Field; hanging out during the daytime concerts with Terri Clark and Craig Morgan; catching the autograph signings in the Fan Fair Exhibit Hall with Trace Adkins; and exclusive interviews with Bucky Covington and Billy Ray Cyrus on their tour buses.
Alas, my current tech limitations aren't allowing me to watch at the moment--Bucky's webisode isn't posted yet, but more installments are apparently on the way. Bookmark that page, and keep checking back! (And if you're interested in next year's extravanganza, happening Thursday through Sunday, June 5-8 in Downtown Nashville, you can order tickets by phone at 1-800-CMA-FEST (262-3378); online at CMAfest.com ; or by visiting Ticketmaster.com. It's pretty safe to bet Bucky'll be there--hope you'll be there, too!)--Winnie
Bucky is not on either of those webisodes but there must be one coming with Bucky and Billy...so woo hoo. :D We will have to keep a lookout for when they ad more webisodes. It will be fun to see Bucky in his bus. :) -SS

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I edited the post, and that visit to Bucky's home away from home will be something to look forward to, for sure.
ReplyDelete(Awwww at that poor little lonely "d"!)
The lonely "d" is trying to work his way up into "ad" above. hahaha
ReplyDeleteGo little d...go! ;)
Bucky moved up one to #11 on R&R but TM&FH got the 10 spot.
ReplyDeleteFrom Idol Chatter, Ken Barnes about new Billboard chart news:
ReplyDelete"81-76 Bucky (9,000; 206,000 total): Bucky hits 200,000 and drops just 3% as his hit country single continues to do well." BF
Thank you Buckyflowers--sorry I missed you earlier! I'll add the numbers out front. Bucky's album does have some formidable staying power! :)
ReplyDeleteover 200K already? WAHOOOOO!!!
ReplyDeleteHis bullet is small on the weighted chart and that's the more important one and there are a lot of big movers coming up. He needs requests.
