Click the image to visit the Truck Stop.We had a late request for this fun image--so here it is again! Bucky Covington smiles for the camera during a photo session for his CD cover; screencap by Sunscreen of the Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands. Click the image to visit the Truck Stop.

Congratulations, Oregon fans! Bucky Covington will be performing in your neck of the woods on Saturday, August 4th. Just in from the Corvallis Gazette-Times:

American Idol contender Bucky Covington and country artist Hal Ketchum have been added to the Oregon Jamboree’s Saturday lineup of performers, according to event manager Peter LaPonte. The event is Aug. 3-5 at Sankey Park. Covington will replace Billy Currington, who recently cancelled his summer tour due to laryngitis. Covington’s new single, “A Different World,” is a top 10 hit with national radio airplay.

Tickets and camping are still available. For more information, call (541) 367-8800 or (888) 613-6812. Visit the festival’s website at www.oregonjamboree.com.

And from the festival's site: "
The Oregon Jamboree is the Northwest's Premier Country Music and Camping Festival. Located in the foothills of the scenic Cascade Mountains the festival takes place at a seven acre park-like setting bordered by Sankey Park and the historic Weddle Covered Bridge." Sounds beautiful--hope you'll be there!

While I've got your attention--how about a little, er, "encouragement"? Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen, Danny Wright All Night and After Midnite all take requests throughout the week, and "A Different World" would be a wonderful way to wind down your Thursday. Call, email, request Bucky and enjoy! If your local country station doesn't carry these nationally syndicated shows, feel free to ask your friendly neighborhood DJ to play Bucky's single. And remember, the request contest at Bucky's MySpace blog is still in progress. Stop in and find out how you can win an autographed photo, simply for doing what you're doing now--requesting Bucky on the radio.

Have a great evening!

He is not dressed like a "hipster" as only Ms. Buckymania can use with flair in 2007....but he is sure a hottie. :D
