Power Picks, Artist poll, and Bucky on GMA--be there!

We love requests--thanks for writing! (Had another request for this photo--thanks for writing!)

Here are three opportunities to cheer for Bucky--head over to the Power Picks page at CMT now, where Bucky's in the matchup for tomorrow's opening video and the voting is happening all night; check out the CMT Artists page, where the "most anticipated album" poll is still posted; then look below for information on your chance to cheer for Bucky live on Good Morning America in Nashville on Thursday.

Feel free to repost and/or email the information below, be sure to print up a copy for yourself if you're going (very important), and have a blast!

GMA at CMA Music Festival

Hey, Bucky Covington Fans!

There is an opportunity for Bucky’s fans to attend the live broadcast of "Good Morning America" Thursday, June 7 at Graham Central Station on Second Avenue in Downtown Nashville. There are a limited number of seats on the roof-top patio and it will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

If you want to try and get in, you’ll need to be at Graham Central Station about 5:30 AM/CT and no later than 6:00 AM/CT. Get in the "Bucky Covington Line" at the front door and look for a CMA staff member wearing a red "Media" shirt to direct you. There will be a second line for The Wreckers who are also appearing on “Good Morning America” that day.

If you get in, be aware that you are expected to stay for the full two-hour broadcast and there is NO GUARANTEE that you will be on television. There is also the possibility that you will be asked to move around for different camera shots.

You will need to print a copy of this e-mail to be admitted. Wear your favorite Bucky Covington T-shirt, but please leave any clothing with inappropriate messages or products at home. Feel free to bring signs and show your support for Bucky!

(Thanks to Chrisanne for the heads up on the Artists poll.) More later!--Winnie

i think you mean "grand central station"......Graham central station was Larry Graham's band in the 1970s. Larry used to be in Parliament/Funkadelic with George Clinton

  4. No problem--I probably should have indicated that it was a nightclub! But very, very cool that Bucky and Parliament/Funkadelic have some common fans. (Should Bucky cover "Flash Light"? I think that would rock... ;)

Yep another Parliament fan here. Nothing's so bad that a little George Clinton or Bucky song won't make me feel better!

winnie, you are absolutely right! me, bucky, rocky and ducky have jammed on quite a few old funk classics over at ducky's old mansion in newtonville, SC. one of our faves wasn't an old funk standard but rather "summertime"...the Sublime version.

check the Suntrust Bank Robbery Service, Inc. MySpace page for a version of "summertime" performed at a party at Ducky Medlock's house, featuring Ducky on lead vocals, Rocky on the drums and vocals, Roger Campbell on lead guitar and Jeff Parrish on bass. I think it was late 2004, not exactly sure. it was prior to Feb. 2005 because duck gave me a Cd to learn some songs for an upcoming TV show we had booked to play on.
