Good news, Delaware Bucky Covington fans...

From the Wilmington News-Journal:

It will be an “American Idol” summer in Delaware this year.

At least five former contestants will be performing in the First State, including Bucky Covington, whose Aug. 12 show at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey was just announced. Tickets are $15/$20.
Tickets go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster.com; the Bottle & Cork is a 21-and-over venue. Congratulations--enjoy!

I thought it was interesting too that Bucky is playng the exact same venue that Taylor will soon play and that the other ones are at the state fair all together.

Well have fun Delaware Bucky Fans! :D

The HDD final #'s are in. bucky is not in the top 50.
The last numbers I got were at 72% reported #43 7,317 Bucky was #10 for country albums. Its possible he still is I don't see him dropping much past #12. But you never know...

  3. Thanks, Anon 2:07...sounds like there's a pretty good chance he'll be among the Top 15 at minimum, and hopefully much better than that. When you consider that the CD came out in April, it's now June, and it's been hanging tough in the top 10/12 or so the whole time on the Top Country Albums chart (and we're only on the first single!), it bodes well for strong word of mouth and overall staying power.

Anon 10:52, howdy--it does look like an Idol invasion up there in Delaware! Interesting that Bucky and Taylor are both playing that venue--would love to know more about the local music scene in Dewey. Bet there will be some overlap in audience, and not just out of "Idol" curiosity, either. Thanks!
