Wednesday news: Power Picks, it's (almost ) summer festival time, and more...

Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, preview his entire CD at Clear Channel Music, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. An autographed copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered while supplies last at his official site or via his official fan club.

CMT's Power Picks features Bucky's video for "A Different World" in a head-to-head matchup during the latter half of today's hour-long show. (Hint--it's a tough competitor, and also one we'd dearly love to see on the same bill as Bucky someday...) Tune in at 12 noon ET and head to CMT.com to click up another win for Bucky! (Edited with results--Trace Adkins' "Ladies Love Country Boys" was victorious this time, but keep watching for more Power Picks matchups later this week...)

In some of his interviews last year, Bucky Covington mentioned that his earliest visions of performing involved taking the stage in the sunshine during the summer festival circuit--chalk that up as one of his many dreams come true. Today's Mt. Pleasant, MI Morning Sun and Tulare, CA Advance Register both feature information about Bucky's outdoor shows--two of the many musical (and non musical) big events on Bucky's warm-weather agenda. Should be a very exciting summer, indeed!

Today, Bucky makes a stop in Wichita Kansas, where he'll be doing a listeners-only show at Sam's Place, sponsored by KDFI. The station gave away free tickets, and the site still says "keep listening" as of this morning--so if you're in the Wichita area, tune into KDFI today to find out whether or not there's a chance you might get last-minute lucky...

In chart news, Bucky's "A Different World" is holding on strong at #20 on both the Top 500 and weighted Mediabase charts with that all-important bullet. The new Radio & Records and Billboard charts will be online tomorrow--come on back for the latest word. And as always, ask for Bucky at your local country station, and be sure to request him on your favorite syndicated country programs, too. With the single in the Top 20 and a bonafide hit album, requesting should be easier than ever! And feel free to give Bucky's beautiful video a round of well-deserved applause at CMT's Pure Country Pure 12-Pack video countdown and at GAC's Top Twenty Country Countdown today.

Finally, be sure to hit the Bucky Truck Stop at Rawkhands today, where Sunscreen has a lot (and that means a lot) of fresh updates for your reading pleasure.

More soon!
