  2. Hi Pizzi--sorry about the blockage! It's pretty much the same info that's in the press release, except for the list of stations--check your email in a few moments. :)

Im getting a little worried today with the amount of spins I see Bucky getting on YES. I have been keeping the page up and keeping a count everyday....Today It seems like he has lost HALF of his spins for the day. And as far as I can tell the YES site is not having any problems. REQUEST EVERYONE!!!!

In 3hrs he has been played a whole 11 times. OUCH...Is it possible Bucky has gone as high with ADW as he can?

Ok since I last posted Bucky has only been played 1 time. I think ADW has had its run. I have never seen such little play this is wild. And YES is working. Kellie is being played alot.

  6. Anon, thanks--I'm not sure what's going on with YES, but it'll be interesting to see Mediabase tomorrow! (I am so not an expert, but I'm guessing it would be really unusual for any song to just get "un-spun" by half in one day...not sure what's going on!)

Again, I'll give my general advice which is--we'll do all we can with requesting and voting and supporting Bucky in any and every way possible--but if you really feel yourself getting upset by it all, take a deep breath, take a break, call your local station and email your favorite streaming stations and request "A Different World", and keep the faith. Bucky's got a great song, great fans doing all we can, and he's also got a great record company to sweat the big stuff.

(I honestly don't think this single's run its course tonight, but when it eventually does, Bucky's got a whole CD worth of killer songs. Old singles do make way for new ones, but we're going to be following him on the charts for years and years--I'm willing to bet on that! :)

Thanx Winnie, I guess Bucky was in a countdown 7@7 KNCI, But it never showed up on the stations YES page. But the other artists are on there. Its very strange. ADW is just starting to get some nice legs. Its too soon to die.

  8. Lia just played Bucky and only ONE station showed up on yes.com so I am sticking with the something is wrong with yes.com theory. No worries.. ADW is going strong :)

Just keep requesting it and all will be well ;)

I sent YES a e-mail informing them of the problem. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. If anyone else wants to speed up the process send and e-mail to...contact@yes.com

  10. Hi Anon, and thanks! The team at YES is aware of the problem and they're working on it. (They're got enough emails as of now--at this hour, more would be overkill.) Hopefully they'll have it sorted out soon!

Keep in mind that in the grand scheme of things, it's Mediabase that gives the fullest picture of how often the song is getting played--YES is great, but a tech glitch there doesn't cancel out the actual airplay, thank goodness. :)

  11. Mea culpa, y'all--YES is still messed up as of Thursday afternoon. If you are requesting today, be sure and go by the "songs last played" graphic on your local station's website to make sure that they haven't just played Bucky before you turned on your radio. Sorry--I have no clue about why YES isn't showing the actual plays of the song. They do know there is a problem and if I hear anything from them I will pass it on.
