Bucky's Number One, y'all! 61,686 reasons to be cheerful

Click to buy Bucky's CD at BuckyCovington.com.Hits Daily Double final estimates of the first week sales of Bucky Covington are in--and if the 61,686 number holds up, this could make Bucky the highest selling country male debut artist since all-time record holder Billy Ray Cyrus' Some Gave All, which sold 90,000 in 1992! He's currently #4 on the overall HDD chart, and it looks like he's got the #1 country album this week...

I don't think congratulations is even close to being a big enough word--but congratulations, Bucky!

(More news after my heart stops racing...wow!--Winnie)

P.S.: Click here for an exclusive Bucky Covington interview video, via Fox--enjoy!

Wow That is SOOOOO exciting! I cant even say how happy I am for him! Except to myself:
I knew it , I knew it - I just knew he had something really special to offer the music world - ( like I'm not preaching to the choir here, lol) But to see the numbers reflect that
    is so good.
If only I could buy more copies, I would....
but I'm giving one of them to the Library, so
    more people can hear it.
    Hav a great day Winnie,
    Chan

  4. Hi Chan--you are very kind, and the choir is sure happy today! It is good to see the numbers reflect what you knew all along, isn't it?

    Have a great day, too!

I can just imagine how Bucky must feel today. Lyric Street also. And us, well we're in Schaeffer City (dating myself with that one...;))

Who would have thought we'd be seeing this kind of recognition for Bucky just a year ago? I knew he would find his way, but did not expect it to happen this soon! So happy!

The new AI interview is cute but why did they decide that Bucky had to be filmed outside in gale force winds? :O

  14. Hello, Dell--you know, it really does seem like only yesterday that we were all wondering which label he'd be on, waiting patiently for the Announcement--and look where Bucky is today! Just wow. I can't imagine how he and his family and friends (and the folks at Lyric Street) must be feeling today!

Icyfire, I am with you...this will indeed be the first of many! Bucky is off to a fantastic start.

Buckwild08, it's true--we do have a terrific performer to support, and that sure makes it easy! He's got a solid CD here, and some solid fans, too. :)

And Anon--hee! Idol does have a habit of doing those outdoor interviews in blistering heat and gale force winds. (Remember "20th century night with all the pre-song segments tapes outdoors? Nine young singers, squinting in the direct light of the California sun...)
