And if you'd like to celebrate in snarky--but surprisingly affectionate--style, take a moment to read this Sarasota Herald-Tribune article on Bucky's upcoming appearance at...well, the title of the story explains it all. Amidst the tongue-in-cheek list of reasons why you should be there (even if you're more suited to wearing the shorts than watching them) is this gem of a quote:
"There are a lot of people in America who really work hard for their money," Covington said Monday in a phone interview from Nashville. "If you're going to spend your hard-earned money to see a show of mine, I want you to leave thinking it was worth every penny."
Those of us who've had the pleasure of a Bucky Covington live show can say without hesitation that you'll leave thinking exactly that!

ReplyDeletePizzi, the orange shorts would definitely make a statement at Regis and Kelly--just be sure you bring some warm sweats to wear over them on the way to the studio! (You won't be starstruck for more than a moment, promise...Bucky is a great guy and really easy to talk to. have fun!)
