An early review...
A review of the four sample tracks from Bucky Covington's upcoming CD just hit our mailbox this afternoon, and if the Gone Country Magazine writer's words are any indication, there could be some very pleasantly surprised music critics out there come April 17th. "With Sawyer Brown's Mark Miller manning the production board, Covington has found his style and created what is perhaps going to be the hottest album on shelves this spring." Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the full review, and enjoy. (Major thanks to the_mumbler for the heads-up!)

Don't ya just love when the skeptical ones are pleasantly surprised.
ReplyDeletehi Kathy :) I agree! It's neat to see how the people who initially were skeptical are surprised at how good he really is. We knew good talent when we saw it :)

Exactly. We knew AI wasn't really showing the real Bucky. But then Bucky fans are great talent scouts!:)
ReplyDeleteIsn't Buckymania WAY nifty? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anon--that's a neat-o compliment! :)
ReplyDeleteKathy and the_mumbler, you know I am in total agreement. AI was a stepping stone, but his real style and talent are what will shine though on this CD. If people thought they knew him from Idol, I think they'll be really impressed with his album!
It's the sweetest reward to hear the surprise in doubter's reactions to his music/new look. I have a very good feeling that this CD will be a whammo hit. And I agree with kathy, Bucky fans are highly skilled talent scouts! ;)
