What a day! So far, we've had an awesome long radio interview early this morning on KJ97 (complete with a fun photo gallery), Kathy at Team Covington's incredible find of a wonderful Associated Press video interview with Bucky (including lots of great on-the-set shots from his upcoming music video for "A Different World"), a gorgeously revamped official MySpace (click on the big top banner and sign up for the message list) and to top it all off, a cute T-shirt in the newly opened store section at Bucky's official site, BuckyCovingtonMusic.com. (Whew!)
Bucky's hometown paper had him listed as being part of tonight's GAC Country Music Across America show at 9 ET, with several repeats; he's not listed on the blurb for the program at GACTV.com, but as past experience has shown, it's probably an extremely good idea to tune in anyway. (Edited to add: Or maybe not--Bucky wasn't in this edition, but no doubt he will be appearing on a future show...)
And as always, there's no time like now to make a request for "A Different World"! WKML's "Top 5 at 6" had Bucky at Number Three tonight--we can finish the week with a nice Number One spot tomorrow, right? Remember to drop the station a line at country@wkml.com and let them know you'd like to hear Bucky.
Mediabase didn't budge today--but what about tomorrow? Our "good phones" can get Bucky into that sweet Top 40 stratosphere...so make a date to call tonight, tomorrow and all weekend long. We're too close not to go all the way, ya'll.
More soon--have a great evening!
P.S.: If you haven't already, hurry and sign up for Bucky's official mailing list--and if you have, there's a T-shirt related goodie waiting in your mailbox right now...
I ordered my shirt. A tan one! :D Thank goodness for plastic money. ;)
