A new Reuters wire story on Bucky is making the rounds this evening; in it, Bucky shares some interesting observations about his unusual road to Nashville via Idol:

"It puts you in the eye of the people that need to be watching -- producers, managers and record labels. The hardest thing about trying to make it is, how do you get in front of these people?"

Covington says he learned a lot from the "Idol" experience. "It's amazing how much you think you learn in the bars and playing with bands -- you think you're ready, and then you realize how far away from ready you were."
