Lazy Sunday afternoon...

Y'all must love this photo--as soon as it scrolled off the page, we got an email asking for it again! Bucky Covington's album-cover photo shoot took place earlier this month at the Golden Oak Ranch in Southern California. You can pre-order Bucky's debut CD at Amazon, Best Buy and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT, or enjoy samples of four songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. Thanks so much for writing!

It's a quiet Sunday so far--but tonight, the Grammy Awards will have the entire music scene buzzing with excitement. Special Mother kindly shared some fun news at the Fox boards; Bucky, Rocky and Sawyer Brown will be spending Grammy night on stage at Harrah's in Cherokee, NC, performing for a private Valentine's party. Will next year's Grammy Awards feature Bucky Covington on the red carpet? It's a distinct possibility; meanwhile, many of Bucky's country chart-mates (including Carrie Underwood, with four nominations) will be among those present. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, and the TV Guide Channel and E! will feature extensive red-carpet coverage starting early in the evening (check your local listings for time.)

One gala night that will feature Bucky for sure is coming up soon--Bucky's Grand Ole Opry debut is little under a month away, on Friday, March 9th. If you haven't been to Opry.com yet, hop over and prepare for a long stay--the huge site offers a charming history of the Opry, a funny and informative Q&A Lady, and even a contest to win a free trip to the Opry and a pair of cowboy boots signed by Dierks Bentley. (Hurry--the contest ends at noon tomorrow, and those extra tickets might come in handy, since Bucky's already been booked for a second appearance on April 7th.)

And as always, our requests on these quiet days help guarantee busy days for Bucky (and for us!) down the road. Be sure to check out the "radio info" section in our sidebar for links to radio stations (both local and streaming) and ask for "A Different World".

More very soon!
