First look at Tuesday

Bucky Covington in a screencap from his new music video, now available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can pre-order Bucky's debut CD at Amazon, Best Buy and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT, or enjoy samples of four songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace.

Full post coming later this morning, but here are a few odds and ends to start us off:

Bucky finished out the day Monday with a nice hop in the charts; the evening Mediabase rankings show "A Different World" at #32 on the Top 500 and #33 on the weighted chart. But here's a tidbit that might have escaped our notice--technically, Bucky has three songs on the charts this week! "I'm Good" and "Hometown" got two airings each during Bucky's radio promo tour, which puts them at #189 and #190 on the weighted chart, respectively. (If the buzz about the very popular "I'm Good" as a second single becomes a reality, we'll have the fun of seeing it on Mediabase's charts all over again later this year...)

You can have the fun of seeing the video for "A Different World" on GAC at about 5:24 pm ET today--then tune in to WKML for tonight's "Top 5 at 6". (Request Bucky at country@wkml.com, and you could enjoy him twice in an hour!)

And finally, a fun blast from the past to wrap things up for now--Tina sent us this cute shot taken during last summer's Idol tour in Chicago, where she got a chance to greet Bucky as he stopped to sign autographs for fans before the show. Bucky's promo tour resumes on March 7th, and there are several new stops added--be sure to hit the tour page at Bucky's official site for the latest info, and maybe you'll say hello to Bucky later this spring!
