(Edited with results: This was a bit odd! The voting was very tight, with labelmate Trent Tomlinson's also-awesome "One Wing in the Fire" and "A Different World" pretty much neck and neck , trading 49% to 51% . Then things went steady, with Bucky leading for the last few moments. At the final half-second of voting, Trent's video held the "Winner" graphic--but when the show came back from commercial, they played Bucky's video. I think we can declare Lyric Street the winner here, yes? Tune in on Wednesday for another Power Picks challenge!)

Ok, so did Bucky win or no? I was voting in one room, when it was done i ran to the other to look a the tv it said Trent won. I was bummed. Then I ran out to the freezer to get some chicken and Caroline was SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER for the whole neighborhood to hear "MOM! BUCKY'S ON TV. Come QUICK! MOM! BUCKY! MOM! BUCKY".

ReplyDeleteI am thinking that last 51/49% flip was an error and that Bucky won it by an eyelash, but who knows the mysterious ways of Power Picks. Bet they do a rematch down the road... :)
