A few odds and ends to start off the day:
First, a belated "thank you" to the kind reader who passed along the news about Bucky's front-page appearance on the Music Row site yesterday! A second reader shared yet another front-page spot for Bucky this morning. Yahoo.com featured a link to the video for "A Different World" from the top Entertainment tab earlier today; it's been traded for another headline since then, but you can still hit Bucky's Yahoo Music profile for all the latest.
If you'd like to watch Bucky's new video on television, CMT's Top 20 Countdown repeats at 11:30 a.m. ET today. The message board for the show is here; feel free to tell your fellow CMT viewers how you liked the clip! It'll also be airing about 7:29 p.m. ET tomorrow evening on GAC, according to the video airtimes search page there.
Bucky and Rocky are taking a weekend break back home in Rockingham, according to a gracious poster at the Fox boards, but a busy week starts up again on Tuesday with an American Idol viewing party in Cincinnati--the first of many events scheduled for next few days. Hang on tight!
And finally, a little musical background--you've seen that link for the four-track preview of Bucky's new album just about everywhere by now, but what you might not have noticed is the "list" option--you can sign up for text alerts on your mobile phone, as well as email updates. All that, and the music loops, too! As a friend of ours wrote, it's a fun way to enjoy some Bucky Covington tunes while we're waiting for that full CD to come along. Is it April 17th yet? Has anyone signed up for the alerts/emails? I cannot access that page, I guess 26.4Kbps just ain't fast enough :( If anyone gets a message will they post what it said.

I am still crossing my fingers for the high-speed cable or DSL people to wake up and get you some broadband service out there. My mom lives on a small farm--they didn't have it for ages and then boom! Time Warner came in to save the day. Hope that happens for you soon.
