(Edited to add a news flash from the Bucky Covington thread at the Fox boards--looks like there's a conference call planned for tomorrow night:)
"Hildi has arranged for a conference call for tomorrow (Thursday, March 1st) from Bucky's performance at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. The show starts at 7 p.m. Central time (8 pm Eastern) but we have no idea when Bucky will perform. The number will be posted on this thread tomorrow night and we will give you updates if we can narrow down the approximate time that he will appear."
(I'll post more details on the conference call as they become available. Sounds like fun!)
Today's meetings and conferences are done for the day, but the live music/party hearty portion of this year's Country Music Seminar is in full swing tonight. If you're in Nashville, you're probably not online reading this--not with everyone from Dierks Bentley (at the Capitol Showcase at Legends Corner), to Jerrod Neimann (at the Category 5 showcase at the Wildhorse) to Cody McCarver (at Tootsie's) playing live, up close and personal.
And soon, it'll be Bucky's turn; his first ever Nashville showcase performance (with Emerson Drive, Lantana and more great artists) happens at the Wildhorse Thursday evening, and with any luck, we'll have pictures and reviews to enjoy on Friday morning. Of course, it goes without saying--if you can get there, be there. Not every CRS-related showcase is open to the public this week, but "Live from CRS-38" does have some $20 general admission tickets available. Don't miss out!
WKRN in Nashville has a video piece on the CRS kickoff, and their entertainment blogger Stephanie Langston will be right there in the thick of it all. Be sure to bookmark her "Steph in the City" blog for plenty of dispatches from the party and showcase scene.
And in non-CRS news (is there such a thing, this week?) "A Different World" is holding steady at #33 on the Mediabase Top 500 tonight, and the video is in the Top 100 at Yahoo Music.
Back later with more news--see you soon!
